Who you will work with

Your case is led by a Texas CPA

Tax Solution Pro Advisor LLC is led by Thuy Nguyen, a Texas CPA and Certified Tax Coach. Her CPA license shows as current on the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy lookup, and she is listed as a Certified Tax Coach in the AICTP directory. As a CPA she has unlimited representation rights before the IRS, which covers audits, collection matters and appeals.

The firm's mission, in its own words, is "to give individuals and businesses a clear path to resolving tax problems while restoring peace of mind." In practice that means plain-English answers, a straight read on which options fit, and someone who deals with the IRS so you do not have to.

Quick answer

What happens if I owe the IRS and cannot pay?

Interest and a monthly late-payment penalty keep building on the balance, and the IRS works through a series of notices (CP14, CP501, CP503, then CP504) before it moves to a final notice of intent to levy. After that it can take wages, bank accounts and other property, and it can file a federal tax lien (IRS: CP504).

You have more options earlier in that sequence. The main ones:

Our IRS relief options comparison puts all of them side by side, and IRS notices explained tells you what your letter means and how long you have.

How it works

Three steps from the first call to a plan with the IRS

  1. Free consultation

Share your situation in a call or through the form. We explain your options in plain English and outline the next steps.

  2. A strategy for your case

We review your case and build a plan to deal with the debt, a wage levy or unfiled returns, then deal with the IRS on your behalf.

  3. Resolution

We put the plan in place and keep communicating with the tax authorities, so you can stop opening IRS letters on your own.

Choosing help

Who is the best tax relief company in Houston?

Look for three things before you sign anything. First, the person handling your case should have unlimited representation rights before the IRS: an enrolled agent, a CPA or an attorney. You can check anyone in the IRS Directory of Federal Tax Return Preparers. Second, they should read your IRS transcripts before telling you what you will pay. Third, nobody can promise an outcome the IRS has not agreed to.

Thuy Nguyen is a Texas CPA, so she has those representation rights, and the firm's office is in Sugar Land. Our guide to choosing a tax resolution professional lists the questions to ask any firm, including us.

Harris or Fort Bend County? The IRS announced storm relief on October 27, 2026 that moves many filing and payment deadlines falling between July 14, 2026 and February 1, 2027 to February 1, 2027 (IRS release TX-2026-05). Payments for 2025 returns, due April 15, 2026, are not covered.

Frequently asked questions

What should I do first if I owe the IRS and cannot pay?

File any missing returns, then ask for a payment arrangement before the IRS escalates. The IRS charges separate penalties for not filing and not paying, and it says it generally will not levy while a payment plan request is pending (IRS payment plans).

Is the consultation free?

Yes. The first consultation is free and you are under no obligation to hire the firm afterwards.

Can you guarantee the IRS will reduce what I owe?

No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Settlements, penalty relief and payment terms are IRS decisions based on your income, expenses, assets and filing history. What we can do is find the options you actually qualify for and pursue them properly.

Who will work on my case?

The firm is led by Thuy Nguyen, a Texas CPA and Certified Tax Coach. CPAs have unlimited representation rights before the IRS, which covers audits, collection and appeals.

Do I need to live in Sugar Land?

No. The office is in Sugar Land, and the firm works with clients across the Houston area. You can book a virtual consultation if you would rather not drive.
